Before investing in an online business, read their Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Terms of Use, User Agreement. I know it’s not scintillating reading, but it is important to know what you can expect from them and what they expect of you.
Answer these questions about each opportunity you consider:
1. How long have they been in business? Where are their offices? Do they provide a way for you to contact them? Do they respond to your email or phone calls?
2. Is there a legitimate product or service for sale? Is the profit potential worth the effort?
3. Do they provide systems to automate the tedious and time consuming aspects of running a business.
4. Do they provide training, mentorship and support?
Note: the questions above are not extensive but should give you an idea of what you should consider. Imagine the benefits of your ideal business and formulate your own questions based on that.
