You are mixing two different subjects.One which is business and we all know "business is business" and another which is help to poor and needy.Business is about making money and organizations which help poor are ones with very noble cause but anyone who decides to participate shouldn't be dragged there to this organizations against their will.Otherwise there is a difference between corporation and foundation.

I have two concepts that may be of use in your fact findings.
